Expect up to two weeks of chip-free wear with proper care. Longevity depends on nail condition, daily activities and aftercare. We use UV-cured Shellac polish and take time to prep and seal edges to maximize wear at La Beauté Spa.

Yes. Shellac is formulated for natural nails when applied and removed by professionals. We thoroughly prep nails, avoid over-buffing, and recommend professional removal to prevent damage. Regular cuticle care and moisturization keep nails healthy under Shellac polish.

Arrive with clean, polish-free nails and avoid heavy lotions on hands. If you have acrylics or gels, tell your technician. Expect a full manicure including shaping, cuticle care and a UV cure; plan about 45–60 minutes for the service.

Shellac can be applied over many enhancements but results vary. Inform your technician about extensions or overlays; we’ll assess adhesion and compatibility. Sometimes we suggest a specific base or avoid application to ensure the integrity of both the enhancement and the Shellac finish.
