Get answers to common questions about Chemical Peel Facial Treatment.
Sessions usually last 45 to 60 minutes, including consultation, cleansing, peel application, neutralization (if required) and soothing serums. Timing varies by peel depth and individual skin needs; your therapist will explain the process beforehand.
Most clients experience mild tingling or warmth during the procedure; stronger peels may cause brief stinging or redness. Our therapists customize strength and monitor comfort, and we provide calming products to minimize discomfort and sensitivity.
A series of three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is common for noticeable improvement. Skin type, concerns, and peel strength affect frequency; a customized plan will be developed during your initial consultation.
Many skin types benefit, including sun-damaged, uneven, oily, and aging skin. We assess individual sensitivity and choose suitable peel formulations; some darker skin tones require milder peels to reduce hyperpigmentation risk.
Recovery varies by peel strength: superficial peels may have little downtime, while medium peels cause peeling and redness for several days. Follow aftercare instructions, avoid sun exposure, and use gentle hydration and SPF to support healing.
Combination treatments are possible but depend on peel depth and skin tolerance. We often recommend spacing intensive peels apart from aggressive procedures; your therapist will recommend safe sequencing to maximize benefits and minimize irritation.
